What is DNS?

Domain Name System (DNS) is a system used to store domain names (domain names) used in large networks such as the Internet. The information collected has many. But the important thing is the relationship between the domain names. With an active IP address, DNS can represent both Domain Name Service and Domain Name Server (Domain Name Service).

A key benefit of DNS is that it converts an IP address, which is a hard-to-remember series of numbers (e.g. 217.942.391.286), into a more recognizable name instead (e.g. datatan.net).
